Center for Media at Risk Statement on Press Freedom and the 2024 Presidential Election

The reelection of Donald J. Trump as U.S. President threatens the freedom of media practitioners in ways that this country has rarely known. Already at its lowest ranking to date in the World Press Freedom Index, the U.S. faces catastrophic threats to media freedom in the wake of the 2024 Presidential election.
